Skinnytaste: The 10th largest source for female-oriented pinning on Pinterest

Our client, Skinnytaste, is now officially the 10th largest source of female-oriented pinning on Pinterest, alongside brands like Polyvore, ModCloth, and Martha Stewart!

As early adopters of Pinterest, the Tarte team was fascinated at the thought of using Pinterest with some of our clients. In August, we began discussions with a very popular food blogger, Gina of Skinnytaste, and instantly knew that Pinterest made sense for her brand.

Tarte created a digital strategy to enter Skinnytaste into the Pinterest arena, while also elevating the look and feel of her booming Facebook page.

Utilizing Skinnytaste’s endless number of recipes and fabulous food photography, Pinterest boards are created to highlight recipes for certain holidays, dietary restrictions, cooking styles and events. Like to use your crock-pot? There’s a board for that. Have a friend coming over for dinner that can only eat a gluten-free meal? There’s a board for that too!

Since our digital strategy began, Skinnytaste’s Facebook page has grown by 41,000 likes and the Pinterest account has attracted 33,000 followers.
